About us

The land for this industrial zone was approved and compiled by the No. 8830 letter of 65 Nei of the Executive Yuan in November 1965.
Due to the concentrated investment in nearby Taoyuan and Taizhong large-scale industrial zones, it has not been developed for a long time.

In 1977, due to the lack of local employment opportunities in Miaoli and the brain drain, the local development of Miaoli was greatly affected.
In Taipei, Taichung, Taoyuan and other places, the nearby industrial development has gradually become saturated in recent years, and problems such as unsustainable labor and skyrocketing urban land prices have indirectly affected investors’ willingness.
In 1977, Ruiming Construction and Development Co., Ltd. applied for the development of the southern area (46.0478 hectares in total) in accordance with the “Incentive Investment Regulations”.
It took one year to complete the development and announce the sale, and all were sold out that year.

In 1978, Wenjing Development Co., Ltd. applied to develop the North District (34.509 hectares in total), and most of them were sold.
In the 1980s, this industrial zone complied with the <Regulations on Promoting Industrial Upgrading>
The Southern District Management Association of Zhongxing Industrial Park, Miaoli was established and officially took over.
